Just in the nick of time
You may remember seeing a voting article about a week or so ago on this site. Out of the 13 Drivers listed in that article, Boost 12 happened to receive about 1/3 votes. Joey Rabiola contacted us as we were putting the article together, we had already decided we would do a vote to find out who the last entry should be. As I had just finished punching in car number 11's information in the voting article, I get a message from him, and he wants in the deal. The 12th car added to the article was "Boost 12", and he is coming to Pacemakers Dragway Park April 20th. Joey got in the vote with only minutes to spare, making him the 32nd and final entry into the Untouchable No Prep Shootout Sponsored by Trick Flow Specialties.
The History of "Boost 12"
Since 2002, Joey Rabiola, and Hans Anderson (Owner of Deans Performance), have been teamed up with each other with one goal in mind, to win. "Hans and I work so well with each other, because we are both willing to do whatever it takes to win races, A lot of people say that, but actually living it the way that we have is a completely different story."
"Boost 12", the Ford Mustang powered by a Twin Precision Turbo Fast Forward Racing Big Block Chevy and driven by Joey Rabiola has been known to be a dominant force in No Prep Racing, but before all the No Preps, it was racing for money on the streets. In 2008 a new series was introduced to the Chicago are called "KOTS" aka King of the Street. The series was made for street racers that rarely came to the track, to get them off the streets and into a safer environment. According to many people, "KOTS" was the first no prep style race EVER. Since 2008, that is all Joey, and his team has done all spring/summer/fall is No Prep. "We travel the country in search of any good no prep race we can find, we are gone 2-4 weekends a month. I dedicate everything i've got to win, and everyone that helps us does the same. My Fiancé Victoria puts up with more than most women would ever even think about!"
Whatever It takes
In 2016 "Boost 12" had a very bad wreck, "Most people would've just totaled the car, but as a group we went to work and put the car together within one week. Hans rode in the trailer to "Turkey Bash", and he plumed the entire car, we ended up winning the race that Saturday night. We truly live the whatever it takes to win attitude. There has been times where Hans and my Best Friend Zac have put cylinder heads on the engine while in the trailer on the way to an event."
Boost 12's spot on the list of the best 32 small tire no prep cars in the midwest has been well earned, and we are looking forward to seeing it put in work April 20th, and 21st at Pacemakers Dragway Park, in Mount Vernon, Ohio for the First of Five no prep races as part of the Untouchable No Prep Series, sponsored by Trick Flow Specialties.
